Every Day Day is a Holiday

Recently, I went to Sydney for a couple of days to visit family and have my bridesmaid dresses fitted. I'm so excited for my cousin's wedding, I love weddings, well the food at least. I made it very clear to her that the cake should be distributed because when I go to a Vietnamese wedding, they never give out the cake and I get very disappointed. Anywho, it was a very short visit and I really wished I could live in Sydney and help out more with the planning, as you guys know I love party planning! The bridesmaid dress is so pretty; it's a maxi dress and obviously needs to be hemmed up by a lot! On thursday, I went out to the city to see my uni friend who is from Sydney. I didn't actually go to the harbour, but I didn't mind because I've already been there. We just walked around the city, and eating macarons. I'm so jealous that they have Laduree, but it wasn't as delicious as the ones I had in Paris, boy were they expensive! The city was pretty cool, and I was surprised that everything was in walking distance, however the options of trams would have been nice.
On Saturday, I went bridal dress shopping with my cousin and it was really cool, and my first time too. My cousin had a very specific dress in mind, and unfortunately couldn't find the perfect dress. However we stumbled upon a dressmaker that could custom make the dress for really cheap. They also had a little Pomeranian in the store who was sooo fricken cute!!!
On Sunday, my cousin took me op shopping, I may do a post on my op shop finds in another post. I love how my cousin and I love going op-shopping. It was surprising to have the op shops opening on a Sunday!! My cousin and I have been really close since we were young, I was known as her "tail" back then! We were the only female cousins in the family, and it sucks being in different states. Things are going to be so different when she gets married, and moving out of her parents house. I don't know how things are going to be when I visit, because I always stay in her room. Hopefully she gets her own house soon and I can stay with them.  I'm so awkward around my other family members.
