There is quite a lot work that i have to study this weekend but once again i am procrastinating.
So to balance the chunk of words i wrote in the previous post, here are some photos to go with the paragraphs. I was too lazy to add photos last time, forgive me.
My birthday party: I took next to none photos, so here are the little i have.

Starting left and going anticlockwise:
1 and 2. These guys are from Hellogoodbye. It took us some following/frantically running after them to get the photo. We followed them and then they stopped to take to a group of girls, so we waited and then they started to leave so we chased them again. They are really nice guys, if only we knew how to talk to them, or talk to people in general.
3. This is Steven from GoRadio, who is the drummer. Originally we were too scared to ask for a photo, look below to see what we initially did. After much contemplation, we asked Melissa to ask him for a photo. He said yes and thought that we wanted him to take a photo of just us but then we were like "You have to be in in too!"
Yes so this is our photo with Steven in the background.
Saturday 1st October aka Going to the Airport Day.
At the festival, we missed out on the signing to PATD and ATL, so i was pretty devastated. That gave me reason to go to the airport the next day to see them. I had heaps of hope that we would meet them. So I woke up at around 8.30am, trolling around twitter, trying to get some indication of when the bands will at the airport. Finally i had some news, the tour manager of WATIC had a location update, saying he was at Melbourne Airport. So i woke up M quick stat, and i got ready really quickly because i knew that their flight would be 10.15, and we could just make it. However, we got the airport at 10.20ish, so they would have already left. There's not much to do an airport, so we sat around and keeping a lookout. Luckily the flights to Adelaide are not that frequent so we know when their flight will be. We got told off by an old Asian man for sitting on these cupboard things, but then when an elderly man sat on them, the Asian man didn't tell him off, so we decided he was ageist. We kept wondering around the airport, and finding things to do, and constantly checking twitter to see if any of the band guys updated. There was a computer stand where we spent some time on the trading post looking at dogs, it was the one of the free sites that you could go on. After getting bored, we walked back to the Qantas area, and M spotted Dan and someone else from This Providence. Unsure of what to do, both scared to go directly up to them and ask for a photo, we do as we always do and followed them. They went into a cafe and we dived into the convenient store next door, and waited for them to make their order and leave. We decided that we would wait til that had finished before we approached. So we were just standing behind this stand, and M said "Imagine if they popped up behind us" and then we turned around and there Dan was standing. Man, did that freak me out. So this was our conversation, or something along these lines...
Dan: Are you guys hiding? "
Us: Um no (not too sure what we said...)
M: The concert was great last night
D: Thanks
Me: So we didn't know you were from Melbourne
D: Yeah....(can't remember what he said)
Me: Do you visit often?
D: Yeah, every one or two years
Me: That's awesome....
D: Sooo
Me: Can we have a photo?
D: Yeah sure.
Yeah okay that sounded really awkward but it wasn't as awkward as it sounds, although Dan kept saying soo.. at the end of his response which made it more awkward, I'm pretty proud of myself for keeping up a conversation instead of just staring in awe. After meeting him, we were pretty ecstatic and at least the day wasn't a failure.
There was still some time on our hands, we weren't ready to leave. We headed over to the Virgin Blue terminals with no such luck, so we headed back to the Qantas terminals. There was these group of girls who were also waiting since the morning, well we assumed they were waiting for a band, they looked like they were. M decided to walk up to them and ask them who they were waiting for, as we walking up to them, M spotted Ian, Spence and Dallas from PATD, and we made a beeline towards them. It was totally awesome to be standing so close to them. In my head i was imagining i was a part of their group. I saw Ian shoving some orange peels into an empty bottle and i asked him what he was doing? he said couldn't find any rubbish bins around. Spencer chimed in that we should get more rubbish bins and it will be a good industry or something, i can't remember. After the girls in front of us had their photo taken, we asked for a photo too. While in the process of taking the photo, Dallas said "Brendon, come in!" at which this point, i started spazzing out. After the photo i couldn't stop staring at Brendon, they all look so beautiful in real like. They didn't look too busy, so i ask them to sign a friend's birthday card, so whoever gets this b'day card better appreciate it (i don't think that person reads my blog anyways. Brendon was talking to the guys, pointing to a man that apparently looked like the doctor from Shutter Island, i wanted to chime in with my opinion but i couldn't see who he was pointing too. But they all seemed so normal, it was amazing to be in their presence. M asked for a photo with Brendon, and i asked for one too. Then they had to leave so that was sad. We just stood there, kinda speechless, shocked and overwhelmed. I wanted to take some stalker photos of them when they were going through security so i did, it was fun, i felt like a paparazzi.
Now that we crossed PATD off our list, we waited for ATL next. Unsure of when their flight was, we were hoping it would be soon, because M needed to get home. We waited until a certain time, until we decided to go through security and watch them at their gate. After going through security and heading to the gates, we saw Zach from ATL along with some other band guys. There were already some girls taking a photo with them, so we went up and waited. We asked him for a photo, although he was reluctant and he kept saying "i'm losing my friends". I did feel sorry for him, but i always thought he was a nice person, it made us feel bad too. Anywhoo we got the photo but the girl was uber shaky so our photo was blurry and we didn't dare ask for another. Knowing that Zach was already there, the rest of ATL must of arrived too. After a while we saw Jack walking from the other side, we tried to intercept him before he walked into the gate but we were too slow. When we zipped past the gate, there were so many band guys sitting there, it was have been an epic flight to be on, those other people on the flight had no idea how awesome their flight was. As Dan was sitting there, we were reluctant to go into the gate because we didn't want another awkward encounter with him. So we stood outside the gate unsure of what to do, there was a seating area opposite their gate and we decided to sit there for a little bit. We were hoping that some other girls would walk up to them, because then we could join them and not feel so awkward. Finally some girls did walk to them, and we almost ran up to them in case we missed our opportunity. We got photos with Alex because he was already standing. He asked if we were catching a flight, and we said no, and he said "so do you guys just live at the airport?" and i think we said "no". we just told him we missed the signing yesterday so we bummed out. I wanted a photo with Jack too but he was sitting, so i whispered to him "Hey Jack, can i have a photo?" and in response he whispered back "i"m pregnant", i'm not too sure what he said but it sounded like that, i kept apologizing and thanking him for the photo, again in a whisper. And he was so gorgeous because he was replying to me in a whisper too. After the photos, i wished them a safe flight, and i could feel all the other band guys' eyes on me, they may/may not have been looking, but we rushed out of that gate. After we were at a safe distance, i started squealing and gushing with glee. I can't believe it, we managed to see them and not just one band but multiple bands too. It was a beautiful day, and I feel very lucky that it happened. It was some much need happiness because i have been going through a lot of crap.

It was my friend's bday on wednesday, and knowing she an assignment she had to finish off, we knew there wasn't much time to spend with her. I wanted to go out for icecream but she wouldn't have much time. So i decided with my other friends, that we should buy some ice cream and waffles from the IGA and surprise at home. When we got home, we found out that she wasn't home, so that was kinda a fail. So i texted her, saying that i could give her some results for assignment if she came home. So she was headed home from uni. I quickly toasted the waffles and scooped some icecream on it and sprinkled some 100's & 1000's, i made a huge mess because i was doing it really quickly. I pop a candle in her one but couldn't find the matches. When she knocked on the door, we weren't sure of how to surprise her, so when i let her, my other friends surprised her by jumping out from behind the cupboards. I finally found the matches and frantically lit the candle, and we sang happy birthday. And i had sparklers too, so we lit those up. I think it was pretty awesome because we're too hipster for normal bday cake. I hope she was surprised. Anywho the ice cream and waffles were actually really nice, so that was good. And then we took some photobooth photos. It was the first birthday that we were together at uni, so that was good.
Anywho lately, i have this subject called Pharmaceuticals Formulations, and it is the most annoying subject. They are really pedantic with the labels and documentation, its driving me crazy. I would try harder but i have no interest in this, and its hard to put effort into something that you have no interest in. I wouldn't mind if they actually taught us what would be on the labels but we have to learn by making mistakes which really annoys me. But its only one subject and it better not bring me down. I cannot wait till i don't have to do the subject again.
Love Squealer.
