My 21st Birthday Party
I had so much planned for this party as it was a milestone, but as always things in your head don't always get executed as planned. I think I just procrastinated way too much the first half of the holidays, thinking that I had plenty of time to make everything, however I'm still pretty happy with how it turned out, although I would have liked to pay more attention to the little details, like little signs and whatnot.
The highlight of the day was my "M" wall, and the home-made photo booth. I'm glad people got a lot of use out of it, mainly my Monash pharmily. It was awesome to catch up with everyone and hang out, and I liked that people were there for me, it's a nice feeling. We played some celebrity heads and obviously band hero.
Also I know I don't always have the best birthday cakes, but that's because I have so much on my plate the night beforehand so I can't dedicate much time to perfecting the cake. Generally my cakes are better, I swear. I'm so happy with my The Maine themed (although I wished they would have retweeted it), I love the band so much and I wish I could do parties for all my bands. It was awesome to see everyone, especially some people who I haven't seen for ages.
