Jaws on the Floor

Okay sorry i sort of was AWOL for a while, but for those who know me, know that i'm probably spending all my time at work which i am. I'm doing around 9 hour shifts pretty much everyday so i'm dead tired afterwards, basically my days consist of work, sleep, eat and internet. As it is getting towards the end of the year, the tv shows are going on break for a while and i'm bummed out that there's not much to look forward to after work. I was excited to watch the Christmas glee episode but I found it was a little boring, i think i liked the previous episode much better. I should stop listening to Lea Michelle's tweets, i swear she says every episode is the best one.
Last Wednesday I went to M's house, which i haven't been to in a while and it was so good to catch up with my friends. There was a work dinner that night so i had to leave early which wasn't so good, but at least i got to spend time with everyone. It's so weird whenever i leave M's house early, i'm usually the last to leave although it takes me the longest to get home, I guess I try to make the most of the transport time. I made her a Pioneer t-shirt bracelet and tshirt but i didn't get a chance to take a photo of it, you can see it on her blog if you want to here. Well I'm glad she'll be the only one to have one. It was also the day of the Pioneer release, so we tuned into the chat together but the documentary was really long, and i don't like to watch concerts that I haven't been to because it just makes me jealous. Because I had to leave early I missed the actual chat part of the live stream.
For those who know me, I'm quite anti-social and avoid any situation that could be anyway slightly awkward, so when one the ex-workers at My Chemist invited me to a little catch-up dinner with some current and old employers at My Chemist, i actually decided to go. I'm not on super close friends terms with my co-workers, but yeah it would have been nice to catch up. Plus once I agreed, i would have felt bad for backing out considering i didn't go to the huge Christmas Party where pretty much everyone went except me. As it was unexpected and unplanned (spontaneity isn't my thing), i was the only one in my uniform but hopefully my jacket was able to cover up the shirt. It was at an Italian place, and we shared some dishes between us. The food itself wasn't fantastic, pretty standard in my opinion. The waitress was very good, my friend had to repeat our order three times but we still got the wrong order. They gave us an entree instead of a main, when it came out, the plate was tiny and we were like 'um is that like the main or entree??'. Before they swapped the plate, my friends ate a couple of the pasta. We spent a lot of the time complaining about the management at My Chemist, and i have to admit it is pretty bad sometimes and inconsistent, they have just become too strict. Oh and i found out i got told off for laughing and not serving people at the back dispensary (which isn't really my job because i work at the front, but if they asked me I would have served the customers anyways). I just wish if they have a problem, they would address me themselves instead of discussing it with other people. I've seen it happen with other people too. It just makes me wonder if they have any other problems with me, but i guess i wouldn't find out unless my friend tells me about it. Well i think it's time for a new job, i always wanted to work at Borders but that door has fully closed. I was thinking of working in Art Craft and Riot because i just like being around crafty stuff, but the store it quite close to My Chemist so it may awkward bumping into the managers. But I'm pretty intend on this year being my last.
Well that's pretty much that is all that is remotely interesting to blog about, unless you want to hear about me and other boring work stories and customers complaints.

Love Squealer.

Thanks for the t-shirt and the bracelet again! Are you going to go to the Dashboard sideshow?
