i'm sort of feeling insane.

Oh man I am so bored. I only had one lecture in the morning today. My first lecture was boring as expected, i didn't really meet anyone new, i went straight home from the lecture. I waited around for Y to finish, watched a little friends and took a nap. I couldn't sleep properly for some reason, i think i'm not used to this new bed and just a whole new environment. Then Y came home, and her friend came over and now they just left for a prac thingy and i decided to study, which is very unlike me. There's not much to study as it is the beginning of the year. I'm reading all my biology notes, attempted to do Medicines in Profile (without knowing which drugs to do, so i basically revised all the Monash ones) but i gave up quickly because APF doesn't give you much information, and now i'm trying to write up some chem notes. We're doing Quantum Mechanics first which i like so i'm looking forward to that. Yeah the oscars are on but i don't like watching it on tv because of the commercials, i really just wanted to watch it for the Social Network actors part, not sure if Andrew Garfield was there because i was watching a bit of the boring part, but i did catch a glimpse of Jesse Eisenberg which sent me into a little spaz attack. Hopefully i can watch it when i get home and skip to the parts that i want.
It's so weird, i get this overwhelming sense of loneliness here even though i have Y, when i'm holed up in my room, its feels so different, like i've been living in solitude for ages. i'm quite lazy so i haven't eaten a proper meal since i got here yesterday afternoon, but i should really make some rice or something. Also we don't get much internet which sucks because me and Y are stressing out about not being able to watch our tv shows, because thats the important part.

- First lecture was boring
- Now have the rest of the day off
- Am very bored and homesick.

i've been so in my head lately and going a tad crazy, tearing up at times and screaming inside my head. i thought it would make it easier what i had done and thought that i could handle it, clearly not.

we're so fake.

Yesterday I spent the day hanging out in the south east side of Melbourne. First off, I hung out with M and Sh at Dandenong Plaza. They were going to get their eyebrows done, i didn't really need to go but as its nearing the end of holidays, i thought, why not? I arrived at Dandy early and hit some of the op shops, i couldn't remember where some of them were because i was too lazy to save a map on my ipod. The op shops that i went to where the salvos, savers and red cross, but i didn't have much luck in any of the stores. i didn't mind because its always fun to have a browse anyways. I'm always put off by savers because of its sheer size and the prices are more expensive than smaller op shops. There's a 50%  off sale on monday which i'm going to sadly miss because i'll be a uni in bendigo (another reason why monash is better, gives me easy access to op shops). Then i met up with M and Sh, we walked to the salon place in dandy plaza, they got their eyebrows shaped. Oh man i felt sorry for them, because it involves waxing and threading. Afterwards I had a list of things that i wanted to do, also i wanted to explore around the plaza, I'm so jealous, why can't there be more plazas where i live. So we went to Kmart because i wanted to buy a pack of pens that were pretty good for cheapo ones, not that i needed anymore pens but i can't help myself, they were so cheap. A pack of 12 for 75 cents :) And Sh bought a little excercise book. Then we went into Terry White and i bought some nail polish, i was going to buy more but i narrowed down my choices to 3, M was laughing at the colour names, "its not yellow, it's Spring Blossum." Next on my list was Dick Smiths to grab some cheap headphones because they were on sale. My current headphones are bright pink so i can't inconspicuously listen to music in lectures. So i got these new black sony ones which should do the job, although my shorter hair cut wouldn't hide much of the headphone cables. Then we headed over to myer, and i was going to show Sh some perfumes but the testers were behind the counter so i didn't want to ask the assistance. So we headed to look at some diaries, they were 30% which isn't much but i have been looking for a diary for ages. Sh and I got matching diaries, mine is green while her's is purple. It's nothing special compared to my moleskine, but it will do. I was really exited to use it nonetheless, nothing better making your mark on something new. Then Sh had to go home before her metcard expired, hehe i told her how to make the most of a 2-hour concession. It was just M and I left, we headed over to officeworks to do our business, which was to make our fake IDs, they turned out alright. The photos turned out more blurry and we should have used a bigger font, but hopefully they will be enough to get us into the concert, according to the ID's I'm 17, actually wouldn't mind if i were 17 again. we hung around officeworks, sitting on the chairs and looking at the stationary, there were so many things that i wanted to get, but M told me not to, and they weren't necessary items, well they were necessary in my head. i bought a yellow legal pad, like Rory Gilmore, let's hope it motivates me to write notes. We got everything we needed to get done, so M had to go home and make sure that Scooby was ok, I stayed on the bus to visit DFO in moorabin because i haven't been there and i don't think i will get the chance to visit it in the near future. I was zipping around the centre so i could get through all the stores. i think its bigger than the one in essendon, but i still have a liking towards the essendon one. maybe its because i go there more often hence buying more clothes there. At typo, i bought a desk calender because i really needed one, there were some nice notebooks but i didn't need them. I also ended up buying a dotti skirt that i thought looked pretty, hopefully i get the chance to wear, as i do have some unworn clothes, partly because i never get the opportunity to wear it or i have other clothes staples that i would rather wear. After my round at DFO, i headed home, my ipod died while i was on the essendon bound train, but i didn't mind, i just sung songs in my head. 

Today i ran some errands around Footscray and i hit some op shops while waiting for my mum as well. I bought some clothes, not vintage one, just some everyday clothes i can wear in general. I'm not having much luck with finding vintage clothes these days. I think my mum is happier that i am buying more functional ''modern'' clothes, she tells me to stop wearing vintage because it makes me look older, but thats because i think i'm not very good at styling them in a fashionable way, i like to just chuck anything on and don't mind that it clashes or looks weird. Also I'm exicted about this part, I have my outfits picked out for Sidewave and Soundwave, which i will show you guys in the next post, but the outfits are along the lines of a shirt and shorts.  i would like a pair of chucks to wear but i really can't justify the price at the moment, i'm hoping to get some on sale in a colour that i like and black. i think i will stick with my cheapo canvas shoes in which i have a ridiculous number of pairs and colours. So stay tuned for my concert outfits.

the end

alright i am officially no longer a monash student, i just withdrew my enrolment. It wasn't as hard as i thought it would. I'm thinking i might as well do it now otherwise i'll forget and then get in trouble for not turning up to my pracs. Man they are trying to make my life harder, my timetable for this year if i were to stay at  monash looks so good, so many early finishes. Why do they make it hard for me? Anywhoo, i reckon this whole year i'm going to be comparing latrobe with monash, and already monash wins hands downs. lets hope latrobe would pick up their game.
well holidays are coming to an end very soon which is sad, i have achieved nothing.

headlines read out...

i'm quite upset, i was meant to be in apollo bay now but due to some circumstances, i didn't quite make it there.
i was just really looking forward to this holiday because i haven't been anywhere for the past year and it would be so good to have gotten away to relax and be out of my mind and not think about my impending year. so i'm just going to bury my thoughts and bad feelings and hope that they go away.

Today was a fun day, pretty much spent the day doing nothing even though we had a whole day planned. Yeah so i went to M's house to see her new puppy Scooby/ie, whom btw is uber cute and gorgeous. I had planned to make a tshirt and actually make our ID's, and by the end of the day i had basically only achieved probably a quarter of what i had set out to do. I had no idea how the time passed, it went by very quickly, and before you know it, it was already time to leave. Scooby was so cute, he was sleeping a lot of the time but when he was awake, he wondering around a lot and particularly liked biting Sh. I was so scared to pick up him up, but eventually i was able to. it's so fluffy and i just wanted to squeeze him. Throughout the day, we just hung out and lounged around. I helped M finish off the RK birthday video, which is pretty awesome, except i kept cringing every time i get to our video.

then i made the ID template, i think i did a pretty good job, but i don't want to post it up in case of any laws that i might be infringing and thus get sued or fined. i got to make the template for my we the kings t shirt but it was such a pain to cut out so i just gave up and played with scooby. Overall, pretty much an awesome relaxing day, which is always good. As our holidays are approaching it's end, we are trying to cram as much activities in next week as possible. and then uni starts again in which i am three-quarters freaked out and one-quarter sort of looking forward to what my life would be like this year.

was meant to go to camberwell market today, but couldn't so planned on going window shopping but got out of bed at 2 which by then i was too lazy to do anything at all. valentines day is tomorrow which is sad, most likely another uneventful day. i plan to go do the things i like to do, which is basically going to go op shopping, i might even venture out into far far suburbs.
well point of this post is to show you the birthday video, i forgotten how embarrassing and awkward it is, we are so on the verge of laughing but at least my voice didn't sound like breaking. That much.

the secrets in telling

today (yesterday) was such an intense day. i always find myself comparing my uni group of friends with my high school group of friends. i'm just so happy that they can be quite different, its lets me have multiple personalities in a non crazy way.
well i'll go back to thursday when i went to M's house which is always awesome in itself. Y and I stopped in Parkmore along the way and it is massive. We were admiring the neighbouhood and how convenient and so many close shops, it would be even better if it was closer to the city. M, i hope you appreciate the closeness and  variaty of shops and things, I mean how close is the officeworks and you have an op shop as well. anywhoo moving on, we stopped by parkmore to grab some pizza toppings. The whole reason for this outing was to finish off our Harpers Island marathon though i missed the first half of the marathon. We made the pizza and we had so much toppings. we couldn't roll out the pizza dough because it was already half cooked, so the bases were quite small. we had to use up all the toppings so we loaded it on. The second pizza was so massive, and there were so many toppings, we didn't think that the middle would cook. I wish i had taken a photo so you guys can see the sheer size of the pizza. luckily the toppings didn't topple (haha) over. So while we were watching Harpers Island, we included M, Y, S, Sh and me. The thing about harpers island is that it has sudden music and movements, like those moments you see in a horror movie. And i thought i was too scared, but i don't really react to my fear. But whenever something sudden happened, S and sometimes Y would shout and let out a shriek, which would frighten me more than the actual scene itself. So Harpers Island is pretty amazing, i wouldn't mind watching the whole thing again, I'm sorry M but i might steal the Harpers Island marathon idea for my uni friends. So we decided we should make a horror movie and we decided that whatever happens, we would leave S behind in the movie. Also we made a list of things that we needed to bring whenever we go on a holiday based on the what we've learnt in Harpers Island. so after we finished the series, M and I needed to make a fan video for RK's birthday, easier said then done. We had Sh film it for us, M and I could not keep a straight face. every time we started singing, one of us would start laughing. it took us about an hour to finally record the clip, but if you listen to us, you can tell that we are suppressing our laughter quite heavily. At the end of the clip, we were trying to convince Sh to pop in but she only agreed to do a little wave at the end. when we were watching the videos and bloopers, it just made us laugh even more. hopefully i can show you guys the end product, as embarrassing as it may be.

So friday, i went to play badminton with the usual people. little did i know what i was up for. So not much badminton playing, but more a d'n'm and talking, so went through a lot of things. my mind was blown. when i told them about me going to bendigo, even though V already knew, she acted like she hasn't and she was like "What!'' hehe that made me laugh. So yeah my mind is quite heavy at the moment, trying to digest everything, though it made feel quite oblivious to everything and wondering why i don't pick up on these things. so after, we went to have lunch. R and T left so the rest went to see the new 3DS but it was only for a preview on the thursday night, but there was a Nintendo lounge upstairs so we hung out there for a while playing with Wii, it was pretty awesome. And then we parted our separate ways, L has work, V went home and I went to check some perfumes. It was so good to catch up with them, but then it made me sad because i won't see them for a while.

oh today was fun! It was meant to be our macaron/t-shirt/bracelet making day, but really we only ended up making t-shirts, which that in itself was awesome. Poor N, she was a bus to my house but was going in the wrong the direction so it took her ages to get to my place. But finally she came and we ate homemade pizzas and watched the spongebob squarepants movie. it is such a random and hilarious movie though i missed out on a lot of the movie. i was busy making freezer paper in order to use for making the tshirts. It wasn't until N pointed out why couldn't we use contact paper instead, and thats when i realised my stupidity, i was too fixated on making the freezer paper. so yeah after watching the movie, we got started on making the t-shirts. we weren't too sure on which design we should do. so i suggested we all make a mustache design so we could have matching t-shirts. so i make the templates and we started painting. T provided us entertainment with her guitar playing. we used the hairdryer to speed up the drying process.
When it got to the time when we were to peel off our contact paper, i was extremely excited. it looked so good!! Then we decided we had to make more tshirts because it was just the best feeling when you see your work finished. So here are some photos to commemorate our day. i'm having second thoughts. i can just imagine myself holed up in my room and crying(while on tumblr).

it was your world

On Sunday, I went over to M's house to continue our (new) tradition of watching the Aus Open final at her house. It was a 40 degree day but i wasn't exactly dying, i made my way to her house alright even on a sunday timetable. i bet journey planner time by 4 minutes, and i gotta say i was proud. We met up with S at springy to visit the festival for a bit, just coz. We walked around a bit trying to find the food bit, it was crazy hot. We found S the fried banana thing that she has been craving for the past year, i had some meat sticks and M had some little Viet pancakes. i meat sticks were alright, but i think my mum makes them better, and i think S's banana thing didn't live up to the expectations. It was really hot so we went inside to the centre thingy to sit down. I contemplated getting a hair cut because it was cheap, but i already vowed ages ago never to go to an Asian hairdresser again, namely Viet ones. so we just sat there, i got some bubble tea and it was pretty cheap, but when it says ice blended, they actually mean ice blended like a slurpee. usually with other bubble tea places, ice blended mean milk tea with blended ice. so my bubbly tea tasted like a honeydew slurpee with pearls. then we walked past a place that was selling bubble tea at a cheaper price, so S tried some for me. She tried to go into the store but the door wasn't moving, then we pointed out to S that that wasn't the entrance door, and the entrance door had an ''open'' sign on it. then m's dad picked us up and we just bummed around her house waiting for others to arrive. we weren't particularly excited about this final, because i really wanted a federer vs nadel final but life is full of disappointments. at the start of the match, it was pretty good, they were both playing well. in between we had dinner, with M's butter chicken which i love. It's so funny, after we eat anything that we have made ourselves, we get all crazy and a bit high. We continued watching the match, and we felt sorry for Murray because he was getting trashed by Djokovic and most of us were going for Murray. The final was over in 3 sets, so it wasn't really an exciting match but what can you do? Then i can't really remember what we did for the next couple of hours. but at around 1-ish we watched zombieland, but i was feeling a little tired so i fell asleep for some of the movie. afterwards we watched freaks and geeks, but yeah i fell asleep again. i'm not sure what we did, but i think i fell asleep at around 4ish. the next morning i woke up at around 10.25 just coz i wasn't that tired. S and Sh were doing their timetable which made me jealous because i never got to choose my own timetable. so umm, then we bummed around for some more, ate leftover butter chicken, and then watched some shows. yeah our days consists of us doing basically nothing.

I was sad when i had to go home, because it meant having nothing to do. 

on tuesday, i finally got a haircut. i got it cut pretty short, at one point, the hairdresser pushed my hair around and it made me look like a guy. i do like my hair atm, but i don't like how it curls up at the ends, it makes me look older/living in 90's, i dunno, i can't really describe it. Mostly i have been tying it up in a crappy french braid because i'm still not sure how to do it properly or neatly. its llike the haircut i had in year 10 but not as bouncy, i think i had hairspray hair, and if you looked at my ID back then, you would understand. 

it was really weird because it was hot on tuesday even though it was meant to be cooler than the previous two days. weather is a bit screwy. 

and today i went to footscray to run some errands, i bought some more nail polish, just a pink colour. my friend was looking for some backpacks and this store that i went into had a pretty good range. so i was trying to discreetly take some photos of the backpacks to send to my friend. But my camera kept making a sound. I did manage to get some photos. And i sent them to my friend, i have never sent an MMS before, i was scared it wasn't going to work so i sent the thing to myself first. Then when it worked, i sent it to my friend. 

I just tried out the nail polish and i liked it, i redid my nails 3 times, i wanted to some watermelon nails, but they made look asian so i wiped it out, i nearly finished my nail polish remover and i think i've wasted a chunk of my nail polish. 

i haven't mentioned anything about the chaos and tragedy in Queensland, but as cyclone is expecting later tonight, i hope that everyone is safe and strong during this time.
